Workplace and Support Spaces
A studio facility is more than the technical rooms. Offices, meeting rooms, green rooms, breakout areas and front of house spaces shape how the building feels to work in, and how clients experience the site.
Recording Rooms can deliver these non-technical areas alongside the studios, keeping layouts, finishes, lighting and building services aligned so the whole facility reads as one project.
What we deliver
We design and build workplace and support spaces that sit around recording, broadcast, podcast and content studios. Typical scopes include:
Space planning and layouts for offices, meeting rooms, breakouts, green rooms and reception
Finishes and detailing, including joinery, feature walls, graphics, signage and wayfinding
Lighting and small power, including practical task lighting and controlled feature lighting
Comfort focused HVAC and ventilation coordination, including diffuser placement and access for maintenance
Acoustic comfort where needed, including speech privacy, meeting room control and reduction of noise transfer from adjacent areas
IT and AV readiness, including containment routes, data locations and coordination with client teams
Most projects begin with a review of how the wider facility needs to operate, including adjacencies, visitor routes and day to day practicalities. We then develop coordinated drawings and specifications covering layouts, finishes, services and key details so the scope can be built without compromise.
On site we deliver the fit out works and coordinate specialist trades, keeping the interface with the studio areas clear. At completion we carry out commissioning checks where relevant and hand over the spaces ready for use.
